Bio
VStarCreative is the umbrella over all of the creative projects of husband and wife team Chris Long and Veronica Wirges. Chris and Veronica are artists at heart. They started working together in their creative efforts 14 years ago and reside in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Here is a bit about them.
Chris started playing music at six and has since mastered many instruments. He started writing at the age of thirteen, and moved into composing/producing a few years later. During his twenties he learned recording and graphic design while playing in bands of several different genres. These various music projects, some with notable local and regional success, were limited by the instrumentation and scope of the project. He finally found full artistic freedom in Monsterboy, a music project where the couple creates a hybrid pop sound using digital and organic instruments without restriction.
Chris's first love is music, but massage therapy is a close second. His intuition and instincts, as well as years of hands-on training and education make him a natural at the various disciplines of massage, often flowing between them during a session to best treat his client.
Veronica Wirges started at as teen on saxophones and piano, however she soon took time off to develop her visual art skills in real world applications. As a visual artist, she loves to work with unconventional mediums, such as hair and stage lighting. She is responsible for building VStar Salon from the ground up, and brings cutting edge hair from around the globe to Arkansas. She worked for years with Chris's projects, providing imaging, set design, props, and operated as a lighting director. In 2018, Veronica joined Chris on stage to become the music project Monsterboy. She has rediscovered her love for playing saxophones, keys, and the kalimba while still bringing the visual elements of the lighting and video work that is her hallmark.
